The Internet and social media are established among all learners. WhatsApp and Facebook are currently the means of choice, especially when it comes to coordinating something or "just asking a quick question". But the use of social media in the training environment is to be treated with caution:

Rarely do all learners find themselves in a WhatsApp or Facebook group. Those who don't belong to a corresponding group are quickly out.
Data protection in the social media is generally in accordance with the GDPR standards. Sensitive data is not sufficiently protected.
Social media is not aligned for collaboration.

Digital rooms

As in reality, a Smart Learning Community contains structures for working together in a meaningful way. Instead of the building, the community platform as such takes the place of the training room, the learners enter the "workspace", and instead of going to the cafeteria they have the coice between several chat formats.

Equipment

The workspaces are equipped with the right tools depending on their purpose. For example, exercises can be held and documents edited. If you have questions, you can communicate in a context-specific way.

Study Groups

Enable an organized, structured virtual exchange within the class. For example, workspaces can also be used for learning and tutoring groups.

Connections

Give teachers access to the community to be closer to learners, get involved and to digitally work with them.

Exchange ideas

Create the virtual teachers' room, where teachers can exchange ideas with each other.

Strengthen connections between learners and with teachers beyond attendance time, creating a vibrant learning community. Offer a DSGVO-compliant, protected space for exchange, information and joint learning.

Collaboration and search within the platform is supported by AI-based Digital Cobots. As "digital colleagues" they work everywhere, make the search results usable and support with the knowledge they collect and make available within the platform.

You will find all the modern collaboration tools, such as: File sharing, chat (including audio, video and online presentations), Kanban boards, forms, workflows, blogs and much more.
